Malignant Neoplasms of the Endocrine System (Including Thyroid Cancer) at 100% VA Disability Rating
A malignant tumor of any endocrine gland. The 100 percent runs through treatment and for six months after it stops; a mandatory VA examination then decides what comes next, and if there is no recurrence or spread the rating moves to whatever residuals remain.

VA Rating Criteria for 100%
"Neoplasm, malignant, any specified part of the endocrine system." DC 7914 states this one evaluation and no lower tier. Its Note controls how long the evaluation runs: "A rating of 100 percent shall continue beyond the cessation of any surgical, X-ray, antineoplastic chemotherapy or other therapeutic procedure. Six months after discontinuance of such treatment, the appropriate disability rating shall be determined by mandatory VA examination. Any change in evaluation based upon that or any subsequent examination shall be subject to the provisions of § 3.105(e) of this chapter. If there has been no local recurrence or metastasis, rate on residuals." So there is no lower percentage under DC 7914 itself — after the mandatory examination the evaluation comes from the residuals, each rated under whichever diagnostic code fits it.
